Who are we?
A mix and mash of thirty enthusiastic engineering undergrads, spread across all four years and multiple engineering disciplines. All members have equal opportunity to get involved, regardless of academic year. Every year we hone our engineering skillset, learn more about job opportunities, connect with local industry, and host social events.
What are we up to?
Marquette ASME competes in the Human-Powered Vehicle Competition (see Vehicle Blog) and the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium's Collegiate Rocket Competition (see Rocket Blog). Between our two competitions, members can gain hands-on experience with welding, electrical wiring, gear selection, controls system design, mechanical design, 3D modeling, rocket trajectory, mobile app development, and more.
